3D Cell Explorer

3D Cell Explorer

Nanolive

The 3D Cell Explorer is a compact and accessible label-free microscope designed for high-resolution imaging of living cells. Using Nanolive’s holotomographic technology, it measures the three-dimensional refractive index distribution within a sample, enabling researchers to observe cellular structures, organelles and dynamic biological processes without fluorescent labels, stains or fixation.

Its low-power laser allows sensitive cells to be monitored under physiological conditions without phototoxicity or photobleaching. Researchers can perform individual 3D acquisitions or continuous 4D time-lapse experiments lasting from seconds to weeks while preserving the cells for further experiments.

Features

  • Label-free 3D imaging of living cells and their organelles
  • Non-invasive imaging without stains, fixation or fluorescent markers
  • Resolution below 200 nm
  • Imaging field of view of 90 × 90 × 30 µm
  • 4D time-lapse imaging from seconds to weeks
  • Low-power illumination without phototoxicity or photobleaching
  • Simultaneous observation of multiple cellular structures and organelles
  • Preservation of living cells for further experiments
  • STEVE software for microscope control and data exploration
  • Interactive digital staining and quantitative cell measurements
  • Export of data in 2D and 3D formats for further analysis
  • Compact design suitable for a wide range of cell biology laboratories
