As a provider of CSR Biotech’s imaging systems, Altium can help US researchers select technologies suited to their cell imaging applications.

CSR Biotech develops microscopy platforms that reveal cellular structures and dynamics in greater detail. Its MI-SIM technology uses structured illumination and image reconstruction to produce super-resolution fluorescence images, supporting the study of processes in living cells. The portfolio also includes systems that bring together different imaging methods, allowing researchers to examine the same sample in complementary ways.

Through this partnership, Altium offers the MI-SIM Pro and MI-SIM Pro+ systems, MI-SIM Pro+ with SYNER, Cell Xtreme, and Cell Xpanse. These solutions support applications ranging from detailed observation of subcellular structures to long-term live-cell and multimodal imaging. Cell Xtreme, for example, combines MI-SIM fluorescence imaging with label-free optical diffraction tomography, giving researchers additional insight into cellular structure and behavior.
